A Word in Due Season

Whew!!!Campmeeting was phenomenal.I can tell you how much it warmed my heart to see everyone on fire for the Lord.I just pray that we can continue the passion that it brought out in us.Passion for the lost,passion for giving God our highest praise.The word given by Bishop Johnny confirmed some things I had been feeling in my spirit.I pray it stays planted in our hearts.Bye for now

Im Trying

Somebody told me tonight I look so serious all the time.I know that I do.I really do have a fun side to me.I'm trying.

Anticipation

Looking forward to Campmeeting.Even if just one new person comes to Jesus it's worth it.My prayer is that we get out of the way and let God be God.I know I have trouble with this sometimes myself.Keep wanting to take my problems back by worrying all the time.He knows what i need and will take care of it for me if I just let Him.Nuff said!!!

9.I trip over my over my word so much when i talk you'd think I was Jerry Lewis so this is easier.

3 Common Misconceptions About Me

1.I am always depressed.

I am by nature a serious person.My mother commited suicide when I was 6 years old so I had to grow up fast.I do have joy in my heart its just harder for me to show.Im working on it!

2.Just because I dont talk much I dont have much to say.

Everything I've read in the Bible says to quick to listen and slow to speak.I usually dont insert myself into conversations but if you want my opinion ask and I will give to you

3.I sing for any other reason than to touch people's hearts and give glory to God

My only desire when I sing is to bring a person to a vulnerable place where God can speak to their heart.I also want to make my song as beautiful as I possibly can for Him.He gave me the gift so I feel it would be wrong not to give back to Him.

A Truly Annointed Man

I am truly blessed to attend a church with an on fire annointed pastor.Just when I think my pastor could not be anymore on fire for winning the lost and preaching the gospel he just kicks it up another notch.The thing I most appreciate about my pastor is that he is just a for real person.I am a very easygoing person but if I do have one pet peeve it is people who put up a front or think they are better than others.I do realize some people put up fronts in order to avoid being hurt but if I dont know the real you how can I reach out to you.I want to be your friend.Anyways I just hope I can if even in the smallest way be a part of helping my pastor reach the vision he has for our church.He is truly a visionary.

A lot of people will be getting married today.I have 3 pieces of advice
1.Put God first
2.Put your spouse and children next
3.Remember to say "I love you" to all of them each day

PS. It doesnt hurt to remember to put down the toilet seat and refill the ice trays either!
